FIRE AWARENESS LEVEL 1 & 2
You will no doubt be well aware of the potentially devastating effects of fires in the workplace in terms of lives lost, injuries, damage to property and the environment, and to the business continuity. You may also be aware that it is believed that most fires are preventable.
The importance of fire safety in the workplace is underpinned by health and safety legislation, that places a duty on employers to establish policies and procedures and ensure their employees receive appropriate training.
This course deals with how fires can occur and what to do in the event of a fire. The qualification also provides a foundation for those employees who want to develop their basic fire safety awareness.

Course Duration

Level 1: 4 hours
Level 2: 8 hours
Course numbers: 6-12 students per class.

Can be delivered in the UK or internationally.

The course duration can be lengthened if being delivered internationally to allow for cultural and language restraints.
Who Should Attend
​
The Level 1 course is designed for all employees as an introduction to fire awareness and is an excellent ingredient in the induction programme of new employees.
The Level 2 course is designed to go more in depth on the course syllabus and would ideally suit those students wishing to gain more knowledge who may be in a supervisory position.
Certifications
​
The qualification does not have an expiry date but refresher training and keeping up to date with changes to policies, procedures and new legislation through ongoing CPD is vital.
